October marked a defining milestone for ResQ2Feed as we surpassed 100,000 pounds of rescued food. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, donors, and partners, this achievement highlights the growing impact of coordinated food recovery efforts in our community, ensuring that surplus food is redirected from waste streams to families in need.
Yet this milestone is only the beginning. Hundred thousand pounds recovered only represents a fraction of what is possible in our county.
